| Frequently Asked Questions |
- I Have downloaded the files; what do I have to do now?
- All the files from Latest-Music are archived as Winrar (www.rarlab.com) or Winzip (www.winzip.com) Archives. So for unpacking the files you need one of these programs.
- Rename the extension to .rar or to .zip; if necessary (Below information about How To Rename)
- Click on the file and click extract here.
- I have downloaded weird files; .xls, .gif, .jpg, .tiff, .class. What do I have to do now?
You download the files to your computer, then you must rename the files to one of the applicable extensions (.zip or .rar). You must rename the files into .zip or .rar from whatever file extention you had before. Than Unzip the file with Winnrar or Winzip.
- How can I rename the file extension?
Normal:
To rename the file, you should first select it in Window's Explorer. Then press "F2" on your keyboard and change the extension to .rar or .zip (just type it in at the end of the filename).
Change Settings:
If this doesn't work, then it may be because Windows is set to hide the filename extensions. Bring up the View menu (in Windows Explorer), and click "Folder Options...". Select the "View" tab, and select "Hide file extensions for known file types". The exact procedure may vary between different versions of Windows, but have a look around and I'm sure you will find it.
- How can I download the albums hosted on FileFactory.com?
- Left-click on the download link; Download File (from the Latest-Music download popup). A FileFactory webpage will open!
- Scroll down that and find at middle height the text "Download for free with FileFactory Basic". Left-click on it!
- On the next page that will be loaded, scroll down and find in the middle height the link "Click here to begin your download". Left-click again on it and the download will start automatically!
Note:
- If you get the advise "Sorry there are no slots available for download", just return in some hours and retry to download or retry the day after! This measure is taken to guarantee always the maximum download speed possible.
